Have we mentioned we love wine? Well, we do!
And we love learning about wine, and facilitating others to learn about wine too, if they are so inclined. That’s why we keep a continuous schedule of wine tastings and wine education classes you can sign up for right on our website. The relationships we have built with growers, wine distributors, Sommeliers, chefs, and so many more, ensure that our students are learning from the best. And we make it fun! So you learn more about eclectic and more unknown wines from around the world, and you have a good time doing it.
Special Events at Zephyr
FRIDAY, MAY 10TH, 7PM – 9PM
SUNSET SING ALONG WITH CLARK HALYN
Come flex your golden (or brass) pipes at our first ever Sunset Sing Along on the Patio at Zephyr. The lovely Clark Halyn will act as our fearless guide as we meander through classic tunes by the firepit. All while taking in the glory that is a northern Nevada sunset over the peaks of Mt. Rose.

WINE CLUB SPRING PARTY
Members of our Wine Club can come pick up their curated wines at our Wine Club Spring Party! And if you are not currently a member but want to learn more, come on by, get some information, and sign up in-store. The lovely and talented Karrie O’Neill will be providing live music for this festive event. Hope to see you there!

Enjoy live music every Sunday at Zephyr! Acts range from acoustic guitar to jazz to classic covers. Relax on Sunday-Fun-Day with a glass of wine in your hand and the sounds of live music in your ears.

There will be NO live music on Sunday, 5/26. It is Memorial Day and all our musicians have gone fishin’! We will still have regular pouring hours from noon to 9pm, so come on by if you are in town.

for Winemaker Evenings
Winemaker evenings are a chance for you to get to know the makers behind your favorite vineyards. Meet winemakers from all around the world and learn more about their unique wines while you sip and enjoy tapas.
Space is very limited and cost is $35 – $50 per person.

LONG SHADOWS WINEMAKER EVENT
Attention BIG, BOLD CAB lovers! This is a very special Winemaker Event where we celebrate the iconic winemakers who came together to help put Washington State wines on the map. Some of these famous winemakers include Randy Dunn from Caymus Vineyards, where his wines set the benchmark for Napa Valley Cabs; John Duval, best known for his work with Penfolds’ Grange, the gold standard for Australian Shiraz; Michel Rolland, who owns and manages such fine wine estates as Château Le Bon Pasteur, Château Bertineau Saint-Vincent, and Château Rolland-Maillet; and French-born Philippe Melka, with a passion for cabernet-based blends.
Join us as we savor four unique Long Shadows wines that all received between 95 and 98 points from Wine Spectator. These will be paired with four small plates.

VGS CHATEAU POTELLE
Over the last 35 years, Chateau Potelle has built a solid reputation for its commitment to quality. This Napa Valley winemaker is committed to producing wines of style and character that are representative of where they are grown. At this event, we will be tasting four select VSG wines paired with four small plates. Join us!
