And we love learning about wine, and facilitating others to learn about wine too, if they are so inclined. That’s why we keep a continuous schedule of wine tastings and wine education classes you can sign up for right on our website. The relationships we have built with growers, wine distributors, Sommeliers, chefs, and so many more, ensure that our students are learning from the best. And we make it fun! So you learn more about eclectic and more unknown wines from around the world, and you have a good time doing it.

Winemaker evenings are a chance for you to get to know the makers behind your favorite vineyards. Meet winemakers from all around the world and learn more about their unique wines while you sip and enjoy tapas.

- Guided tasting of 5-7 wines carefully curated by Master Sommelier David Glancy

FEBRUARY 8, 6:00 – 8:00
INTRO TO BLIND TASTING
Learn about the physiology of taste and how to evaluate acidity, tannin, residual sugar (RS) and other structural elements of wine. Start building your wine description vocabulary. Attend this fun session to gain confidence in knowing what kind of wines you like and how to describe them. Or use this as the start of your journey in preparing for entry- to mid-level wine exams.
FEBRUARY 15, 6:00 – 8:00
INTRO TO WINE PAIRING
Can you create perfect pairings or are you paralyzed by the rules? Learn basic food pairing theories and see how different styles of wine interact with primary flavor components. Come taste many combinations and discuss the impact on your palate. Learn your preferences and those of your classmates and improve your confidence with new pairing knowledge!

INTRO TO CALIFORNIA WINES
California is by far the largest wine producing state in the USA & is a global powerhouse. Credential seekers, or others seeking a deeper dive, can check out our California Wine Appellation Specialist, but everyone will enjoy Intro to California Wines! Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles and Santa Barbara are some of the best known regions we will explore but we’ll also survey the rest of the state and the most important wines throughout. In this seminar taste 6 wines as we explore the grapes, styles and diversity of California’s greatest wines.

French wines serve as the foundation for most people trying to understand the wines of the world.
